Situated on a private concession in the magnificent Okavango Delta, Sandibe boasts exclusive traversing rights over land adjacent to the wildlife-rich Moremi Game Reserve. Inspired by nature and celebrating its stunning setting, the lodge features the best the Delta has to offer in design, outstanding wildlife viewing, and warm local hospitality.
At &Beyond Sandibe, guests awaken to the sound of animals, laugh at the antics of baboons and squirrels over breakfast, and tread in the footsteps of elephants on ancient paths that bisect the forest. Days are spent exploring a maze of papyrus and wide floodplains in search of wildlife. The lodge’s exceptional design creates a sense of space and grandeur where guests can revel in one of Africa’s most untouched landscapes, taking in the serene beauty of the unique natural spectacle outside of their doorstep.
The suites' organic design, complete with hand-woven exteriors, reinforces this cozy and intimate feeling. Looking out over the Delta, the suites are actually nestled into the big trees and thickets along the water’s edge.
Simple and organic, subtle décor compliments the natural lines of the exteriors. A casual crocodile-embossed leather sofa for two and a side table made from a tree trunk create an aura of natural comfort. The giant king bed looks out on spectacular Delta views. The sounds of wild Africa awake guests in the morning - elephants splashing in the water, baboons chattering, and birds calling from the trees. Outdoor showers cater to those who simply cannot tear themselves away from the views, while discrete butler services add an aura of intimacy.
Sparkling private plunge pools mirror the cool waters of the Delta channels, while two large day beds invite guests to daydream the afternoon away. Presided over by twinkling, starry skies and set to the chorus of an orchestra of frogs, private meals are served on the elevated deck. Back inside, a wood-burning fireplace creates the ideal spot for cozy nights filled with reflection on adventures to be lived.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
