Arrive to Livingstone, Zambia today and transfer to your hotel located in town. Settle in to your camp this evening, Toka Leya, located about a twenty-minute drive from Livingstone and rest up for your Zambia trip.
Set out on a guided tour of Victoria Falls and Livingstone today. Spend the rest of the day as you like, or arrange for additional activities in Livingstone or through your camp. A variety of adventures activities are offered along the Zambezi River and in the immediate area for those with more time after they tour the falls. Try whitewater rafting, bungee jumping, or river boarding. Visit the Livingstone museum and learn about its history. Or opt to wander the market stalls in Livingstone and enjoy the urban lifestyle. This evening enjoy a guided sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River, spotting crocodiles and hippos along the banks.
*Please note, Victoria Falls is only a trickle in mid September through November. We can arrange for a guided tour of Livingstone instead this time of year.
Transfer back to the airport today for your short hopper flight on to the Busanga Plains located in the remote northern section of Kafue National Park. Drive to your safari camp, the Busanga Bush Camp, and settle in for the evening. Kafue National Park has remained largely undeveloped due to lack of accessibility compared to other national parks, though it covers the second largest area of any park in Africa. Kafue holds 55 species of mammal and great range of antelope species, large herds of puku, red lechwe, and smaller groups of blue wildebeest and zebra that congregate around the Busanga Plains around the start of dry season.
Spend your days going on game drives with your expert guide. Walking safaris around the Busanga Plains are also a frequent occurrence, with a variety of herds dotting the landscape in the morning hours. Boating on the plains while the water levels are high, and catch-and-release fishing, are also fantastic activities available. Opt for an optional hot-air balloom ride and get an aerial view of the plains from August to October.
Transfer today to neighboring Shumba Camp. Spend your last two days here in a higher level of comfort and enjoy the addition of a pool and fans to your last two days in the park. The activities offered here are similar to those at Busanga Bush Camp, and a complimentary hot-air balloon ride is also included in your stay if you are visiting the park between August to October.
Spend your last day soaking up the experience on your Zambia safari. Go on a walking safari or a night drive with your guide as you enjoy your last day in Kafue National Park.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.

Jessica was very responsive to my questions and never balked when I asked her to go back and find more options. She really worked hard to find the right cruise for us.

Adventure Life took care of a lot of details for me because I flew separately and met up with the group at the start of the trip. On the return they dropped me off in Cantania and flew back to the UK as one group.
I was the only American on the Exodus trip which was not a problem. Communication between the two companies was good.

We loved our time aboard the Angel. Beautiful boat and crew. Naturalist Jose Luis was incredible-very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He adapted tours to our group and we all had an amazing trip. Love staying a the quaint hacienda and the recommended activities.
