Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
On your way to the airport in Lima, relax before your flight to Cusco. In the evening, have dinner at a restaurant that serves traditional Cusco dishes in a cozy, old-fashioned setting in the famous San Blas neighborhood.
Take part in a delicious adventure on a gastronomic tour! Explore the fascinating world of Peruvian staples at the Chocomuseo and the Pisco Museum. Learn the production process of each, from the raw ingredients all the way to the finished product. And to tantalize your taste buds even further, you'll get to sample these delights in each location! After this flavorful journey, head back to your hotel for a satisfied rest.
Set out from the hotel after breakfast, traveling through the Sacred Valley toward the archaeological wonder of Maras. Here, witness the mesmerizing salt ponds that have sustained local families for generations. These thousands of ponds have historically served as a vital economic hub, providing sustenance and livelihoods. Moving onward, reach Moray, about an hour and a half away, and explore mysterious Inca ruins featuring concentric circular terraces with varying climates on each level. Following the exploration, indulge in a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley before unwinding at your hotel.
Explore the Pisac market, a vibrant tapestry of dozens of stalls overflowing with locally crafted goods. You find textiles in bright colors, intricate carvings, and replicas of ancient Inca pieces.
Next, head to the pre-arranged restaurant. Ollantaytambo, a living example of Inca urban planning, will greet you with its timeless charm. Pachacútec, a powerful Inca emperor, conquered and then rebuilt Ollantaytambo, transforming it into a part of his vast empire. Today, it stands as one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the region.
Prepare to witness a culinary tradition that stretches back millennia: Pachamanca. This unique Andean ritual involves slowly cooking a variety of ingredients, including potatoes, sweet potatoes, meat, and vegetables, beneath the earth using heated stones. Watch with anticipation as the Pachamanca is unearthed, and then savor the delicious results. Finally, your journey concludes with a transfer back to the Sacred Valley.
Transportation service picks you up and takes you to Ollantaytambo Station. Board a comfortable train and gaze out the window at the stunning Andean landscapes as you travel for about an hour and a half. The train will take you to Aguas Calientes, the town closest to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting to meet you and help you get to the bus stop. Then, catch a bus for the short 25-minute ride up to Machu Picchu, the legendary "Lost City of the Incas."
Explore this archaeological site believed to have been built in 1450 by the Inca Pachacutec as his holiday home. Abandonment followed a century later after the Spanish conquest, sparing it from the destruction that struck other Inca settlements. Now, you get to explore its most impressive buildings and learn all about its fascinating origins with a guided tour.
After you complete the tour, take the bus to Aguas Calientes. Enjoy lunch at your selected restaurant. After lunch, explore the charming village and, when you're ready, board the train back. The trip by train takes an hour and a half and takes you back to Ollantaytambo, where transportation will accompany you back to your hotel in Cusco.

I think it was very helpful that Franny and I spoke on the phone. I think she had a better idea of what we were looking for, and she planned a great itinerary for us!

We book a tour to Peru with them in May. Viewing from their website we didn’t realize that they are private tour company but after quoting the price, it seems reasonable for a private tour, let’s see how’s their service after our tour. The process of booking went smoothly except the payment part which need a bit of work. Need to improve better payment method and options.
