Cruising between Croatia, Italy, and Greece

Some of our favorite Mediteranean cruises are between Croatia and Italy visit the Italian cities of Venice or Civitavecchia, just 80k from Rome.
The legendary Greek Islands are frequently combined with Croatia:

As you explore the history and seascapes of the Adriatic Sea, you will swim in the refreshing waters of beautiful archipelagos with over one thousand islands, and visit cities with thousands of years of history.

The Dalmatian Coast: Is a narrow belt of the east shore of the Adriatic Sea. Starting from island of Rab in the north to the Bay of Kotor in the south, the Dalmatian Coast is legendary for it's quaint ports, rugged mountains, dozens of spectacular castles.
Expeditions along Croatia's Dalmatian Coast feature charming destinations like:

  • The Elaphiti Islands: An archipelago with crystal, turquoise waters great for an afternoon dip.
  • HvarA summer resort city known for its 13th century walls and ancient fortress.
Cruises from Croatia couple excellently with cruises around the neighboring countries as well, like ItalyGreece, and the Balkan states.

Croatia Cruise FAQs

Why should I choose a Croatia cruise?
A cruise is a great way to see all that Croatia has to offer. The sea-faring ships give you access to the Dalmatian Coast and Dubrovnik. These all-inclusive packages bundle meals, transportation, comfortable lodging, and daily excursions into one excellent value. And the fact that you are cruising in your hotel means that you can gain access to new destinations each day without wasting any time on buses or trains or having to pack and unpack your suitcase.
What should I look for on a small cruise ship?
The vessels designed for Croatian cruises tend to be smaller yachts with occupancy of 50+ passengers. Each one features a sun deck with comfortable chairs, spacious cabins, and a dining area and bar where you can enjoy gourmet cuisine along the way. Some of the small ships even offer free equipment rental, like bikes, kayaks, and snorkels depending on the itinerary. /
Do Croatian cruises ever visit destinations that aren't on the Adriatic Sea?
Sometimes. The majority of our Croatia cruises do tend to stick to the Adriatic Sea, since swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and island exploration are some of the main features of these cruises. Of course, there are several destinations that are further inland, which you can access by a bus included in the price of your ticket.
What kind of power outlets are there? Will I need a converter?
As long as your 110v devices are able to handle 220v power (which most are), then you will not need a power converter. However, the plugs are either three flat prongs or two round prongs, so you will need a plug adapter if you have flat pronged US-style plugs.
