Embark on this exciting 11-day voyage, on the Rembrandt van Rijn, to the Scoresby Sund, East Greenland, and more. On this departure, sail northwards along the East Greenland coast to visit Kangerlussuaq, Miki’s, Nansen and d’Auney’s Fjord. Further on near Römer Fjord and Turner Sound have good hiking opportunities. At Stewart Ö, perhaps see the narwhal and at Ittoqqortoormiit and on the tundra of Jameson Land, have good possibilities to see musk oxen.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Sailing northward along the East Greenland coast, enter several fjords, competing in great beauty, Ikerssuaq, Kangerlussuaq, Miki’s, Nansen and d’Auney’s, most of these with glacier fronts at the head. Any of these fjords offer a chance to see a polar bear.
Rømer Fjord and Turner Sound give good opportunities to sail far inland, as they have no glacier front at the head and they are not clogged with glacier ice, providing hiking opportunities. From a ridge on the Manby Peninsula have a stunning view across the landscape.
Stewart ø is an important hunting station for the people from Scoresby Sund. It is a good area for narwals. There are also beautiful remains of Thule houses.
Ittoqqortoormiit (about 400 inhabitants), at the northern entrance of the Scoresby Sund, is the only Greenlandic settlement of the area. Their nearest neighbors in West Greenland live about 800 km away.
A little way west of Kap Stewart land on the coast of Jameson Land, an undulating tundra landscape with good possibilities to see musk oxen.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.

Jessica was very responsive to my questions and never balked when I asked her to go back and find more options. She really worked hard to find the right cruise for us.

Adventure Life took care of a lot of details for me because I flew separately and met up with the group at the start of the trip. On the return they dropped me off in Cantania and flew back to the UK as one group.
I was the only American on the Exodus trip which was not a problem. Communication between the two companies was good.

We loved our time aboard the Angel. Beautiful boat and crew. Naturalist Jose Luis was incredible-very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He adapted tours to our group and we all had an amazing trip. Love staying a the quaint hacienda and the recommended activities.
