An eco-friendly camp, 4 Km from the Maasai Village of Engaresero, Lake Natron Halisi Camp offer guests a back-to-nature camp experience, where the focus is on the natural surroundings more than creature comforts. This environmentally conscious camp has no running water, but offers bush showers and boiled water upon request. There is no electricity, however solar energy powers the camp.
Enjoy a three course dinner in the common dining room, walk with the Maasai to the Engaresero waterfalls where you can enjoy a swim, and take in the grandeur of the sweeping views down to Lake Natron. Although no typical game drives take place in the Lake Natron area, all the activities make Natron an enchanting place to break from safari for two or three days.

Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.
