Day 1: Ottawa to Pond Inlet | Premium Safari Camp

Upon landing in Pond Inlet, you will be welcomed by an Arctic Kingdom representative. In groups of eight, transfer to the private plane for your short flight into camp. Have your cameras ready for stunning aerial views of the vast Arctic landscapes, including dramatic mountains and icebergs in Sirmilik National Park. Settle in to camp and enjoy a hot dinner with your fellow adventurers.

Day 2-5: Bylot Island Migratory Bird Sanctuary | Arctic Landscape

Journey to the floe edge by snowmobile and qamutik and enjoy spectacular Arctic landscapes and mild spring weather. Observe wildlife in their natural habitat, including narwhal, polar bears, seals and more. Ice conditions permitting, you may also visit the Bylot Island Migratory Bird  Sanctuary, home to more than 200,000 birds.
In small groups, enjoy excursions to attractions in the area and engage in guided hikes on land and a variety of activities at the floe edge. Snorkel and kayak amongst sea ice and possibly with whales. Visit traditional Inuit hunting grounds and learn about the culture and history of Inuit.

Day 6: High Arctic Wilderness | Pond Inlet

  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
After another full day enjoying the majesty of the High Arctic wilderness, fly directly out of camp to Pond Inlet. Explore the town at your leisure and spend your final night in a hotel.

Day 7: Pond Inlet | Home

  • 1 Breakfast
Transfer to the Pond Inlet airport and fly to Iqaluit and transfer planes for your flight to Ottawa to catch your flight home.
