Panama Marine Adventures was established in 2003 with the strategic vision of creating and developing high-quality leisure products for the tourism industry that take advantage of the special relationship that Panama has with the oceans.

The Pacific Queen started operations in Panama in November 2003 offering partial and full Panama Canal transit tours. The canal is one of the most important attractions that Panama has to offer, and there is no better way to experience this unique engineering marvel. Travelers explore from coast to coast, experiencing nature, culture, native communities, pristine beaches, the Panama Canal, and the rich history that defined Panama as a place of transit and travel.

What is the best way to get to the Flamenco Marina?

The best way is by taxi. You can take a regular taxi from the street, have the hotel arrange one for you or call for an Uber.

Are there hotels nearby the check-in point?

Yes, there are two hotels nearby. The most popular one is the Country Inn & Suites Amador located at the beginning of the Causeway. There’s also the Wyndham Albrook Mall which is located about 10 to 15 minutes from the Causeway.

What is the difference between a Northbound and Southbound Panama Canal transit?

The difference between the northbound and southbound Panama Canal transit is the direction that the Pacific Queen is headed. In the Northbound direction, the vessel heads towards the Atlantic Ocean (North part of the country). In the southbound directions, the vessel heads toward the Pacific Ocean (the South part of the country). In both directions, the vessel passes through the same places.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
