The heart of the ancient Roman empire and capital of modern Italy, Rome is one of the world’s great cultural centers, and an abundance of monuments, cathedrals, artistic masterpieces, and more reflect the city’s rich ancient, medieval, and Renaissance history. You’ll embark Tere Moana in the nearby port city of Civitavecchia and enjoy time to settle into your stateroom before the ship sets sail this evening for your Mediterranean adventure.
Day 2: Almalfi / Sorrento, Italy
1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
The Amalfi Coast, a mountainous coastline just south of Naples, is revered for its picturesque villages built into steep hillsides that plunge into the beautiful Mediterranean. This morning, Tere Moana calls on Amalfi, the main town on the Amalfi Coast, where you can explore a warren of alleyways and town squares giving way to sweeping views.
In the afternoon, Tere Moana cruises to Sorrento, a magical town in the Campania region of southern Italy, overlooking the Bay of Naples. Famous for the production of limoncello, a lemon liqueur, Sorrento features excellent dining, shopping, and nightlife, as well as beaches and hiking trails.
Day 3: Lipari, italy
1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
The largest of the Aeolian islands—a volcanic chain in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the north coast of Sicily—this ruggedly beautiful island delights the eye with steep cliffs tumbling down to a blue sea. Along the shoreline, you’ll find numerous beaches available, or spend time exploring the main town, also called Lipari, where an archaeological park showcases the city’s ancient Greek roots.
Day 4: Capri, Italy
1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
A four-mile-by-two-mile gem of an island off the Amalfi coast, Capri was once the vacation retreat of the Roman emperors Augustus and Tiberius and is listed today among the 1,000 Places to See Before You Die. Boasting an idyllic climate, lush gardens, and magnificent views, it features scenic hiking, Roman ruins, a 14th-century Carthusian monastery, and the famed Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra), renowned for the intense blue of its waters.
Day 5: Ponza, Italy
1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
A tiny island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, Ponza is the largest of Italy’s Pontine Islands—and one of the gems of the region. As the ship approaches the island, view a terraced landscape set on dramatic white and brown cliffs that tumble down to inviting coves and beaches. The Moana anchors at the port town of Porto, where you can wander amid pastel-colored homes interspersed with cafés, bakeries, and food stalls. Or stroll down pathways leading to the Piscine Naturali, saltwater pools created by long-ago volcanic eruptions.
Day 6: Golfo di Aranci, Italy
1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Located on the northeast coast of Sardinia, overlooking the Gulf of Olbia, the former fishing village of Golfo di Aranci now attracts visitors from around the world to its many white-sand beaches, where crystal-clear waters invite diving. Admire the natural beauty of its rocky headlands, and perhaps climb up to the church of Nostra Signora del Monte for magnificent views. Shop for local crafts on Via Libertà. Or, if you’re interested in history, might want to visit the Nuralgic Sacred Well of Milis and the old lime factory.
Day 7: Porto-vecchio, France
1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
A fashionable resort town near the Corsican port city of Bonifacio, Porto-Vecchio delights the eye with its dramatic scenery, as majestic mountains rise above some of the best beaches on the island. Enjoy time to stroll among charming, historic buildings housing chic bars, restaurants, and shops.
Day 8: Disembark in Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
1 Breakfast
Your European cruise draws to a close where it began: in the port city of Civitavecchia. Enjoy breakfast on board before bidding your captain and crew a fond farewell this morning.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).

Adventure Life took care of a lot of details for me because I flew separately and met up with the group at the start of the trip. On the return they dropped me off in Cantania and flew back to the UK as one group.
I was the only American on the Exodus trip which was not a problem. Communication between the two companies was good.
