Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and clear customs and Immigration. Afterward, meet your driver guide and transfer you to Tarangire National Park—check-in upon arrival.
Tarangire National Park, situated within Tanzania’s breathtaking Manyara Region, showcases awe-inspiring landscapes of granite ridges, river valleys, and mixed vegetation, serving as a sanctuary for a variety of wildlife. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire River attracts thirsty animals, including large herds of elephants, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland, followed closely by predators. After an early wake-up call, head out with a picnic lunch and spend the whole day in Tarangire National Park. You can leave at your convenience and return to camp for a drink and a shower before dinner.
Check out of your camp today and head towards the shores of Lake Eyasi, a seasonal soda lake. Along the way, stop by a local school for a visit. Enjoy your time with the enthusiastic pupils and teachers before driving to Kisima Ngenda Tented Camp.
Nestled between the Kidero Mountains to the south and the Eyasi Escarpment to the north, Lake Eyasi lies in a remote, arid landscape just south of Tanzania’s renowned Serengeti National Park. This seasonal lake boasts dry salt beds and hosts a diverse array of birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans. Surrounding the lake are woodlands, forests, and ancient baobabs. Visitors can learn about local cultures and visit the pastoralist Datoga people and the nomadic hunter-gatherer Hadzabe group. Make your way towards the Plantation Lodge, located just a stone's throw from the entrance to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, check-in and receive a brief safari orientation. Then, retire to your room to unwind and freshen up before dinner.

Today, embark on a crater tour with a picnic lunch provided. If you are lucky, many of the animals on your must-see list may be spotted. Upon return to Plantation Lodge, dinner is prepared while you enjoy a well-deserved hot shower. Afterward, dine in the picturesque dining area.
Situated in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is renowned for its natural splendor and rich wildlife diversity, earning it status as one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. Surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands, this UNESCO-designated crater is recognized as the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Visitors can anticipate encountering the iconic Big Five and numerous other wildlife species, such as vast herds of zebra and wildebeest. Renowned as one of Tanzania’s top tourist attractions, including birdwatching, trekking, wildlife observation, mountain biking, and visits to local Maasai villages. Be sure not to overlook the opportunity to embark on an excursion to the remarkable Olduvai Gorge.
Check out after breakfast and meet with your driver at the reception area. It is a short drive to the Manyara Airstrip, where you bid farewell to your driver guide and board your scheduled service to the Serengeti. Upon arrival, your camp's safari vehicle and driver guide is waiting for you. Go on a short game drive to Serian Camp. Upon arrival, you'll be escorted to the reception area for a short safari briefing before being shown to your room.
After lunch, go on your first game drive in the Serengeti.
Nestled between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north, the Northern Serengeti is an untouched haven for African wildlife. This vast region is renowned as the hub of great migration. Along the Mara River, visitors can witness the annual spectacle of half a million migrating wildebeest. Among the diverse wildlife, sightings often include buffalo, zebra, gazelles, impala, giraffe, lion, and leopard. Activities in the area include birdwatching, hot air ballooning, safaris, and guided bush walks.
Day 7-8: Explore Serian's Serengeti North, Northern Serengeti
Spend the next two days full of game viewing and exploring this Reserve. Early morning game drives are the best for observing animals in their most active state or simply unwinding at the camp. In the afternoon game drive, opportunities to spot Africa's famous Big Five abound, thanks to the park's abundant predators and prey.
Day 9: Return Home

Check out after breakfast, you'll be driven a short distance to the Airstrip to board your scheduled flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at the Arusha Airstrip, you are met by an Adventure Life driver and vehicle, who take you to the nearby Shanga workshops at the lunch location. Depending on your international flight times, you meet your Adventure Life driver at the Reception of Arusha Coffee Lodge and are driven to the Kilimanjaro Airport. Adventure Life's services are now complete.

Adventure Life took care of a lot of details for me because I flew separately and met up with the group at the start of the trip. On the return they dropped me off in Cantania and flew back to the UK as one group.
I was the only American on the Exodus trip which was not a problem. Communication between the two companies was good.
