Visiting Croatia on a cruise takes you to ports of call where the romance of Dubrovnik, finding the birthplace of Marco Polo on Korcula Island, discovering the history of sunny Hvar, and wandering the beaches of Bol puts you in the heart of the Mediterranean.

Bol
The main town on the island of Brac, Bol has one of the best beaches in Croatia, Zlatni Rat. Other highlights that entice visitors are the Dragon’s Cave-a monastery that dates back to the 4th century, and the sculpting school that displays its student’s work as locations all around town.

Dubrovnik
Nestled on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik’s old town, museums, and fortresses shed new light on the vibrant culture of the country.

Korcula Island
Korcula Island is one of the favorite stops on Croatia cruises as its beaches, history, century-old traditions, olive groves and vineyards give a new perspective of the depth of the culture of the country.

Hvar
A holiday destination for the jet-set, Hvar’s beaches, local eateries, and vineyards are ripe for the picking when it comes to relaxed exploring while on day trips.

Vis
Vis has an authenticity that is almost lost in other islands that is refreshing while wandering the streets of fishing villages, discovering uncrowded beaches, eating at charming restaurants, and soaking up the sun.

Split
Split’s Diocletian’s Palace is the center of the city-ancient Roman buildings give way to the old town where eateries spill out to the main square. For a great view of the city, head up to the Klis Fortress where scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed.

Makarska
Once home to pirates that raided ships passing on the Adriatic Sea, the Makarska of today is a thriving beach resort where peddling boats and jet skis are some of the activities on the water while exploring the town’s restaurants and hiking in the outskirts offer rewards for those with a few hours to spare.

Pula
Pula’s main attractions are its Roman buildings, the Arena in the center of town is the only Roman amphitheater in the world with intact circular wall-the beaches of the city and the seafood restaurants along the coast are also fun places to discover.

Slano
Another hidden in plain sight seaside city close to Dubrovnik, Slano’s scenery, Greek and Roman ruins, and the small-town appeal is a welcoming reprieve from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
