In eastern Croatia lies the charming city of Vukovar, Croatia's largest river port situated at the confluence of the Vuka and the Danube Rivers. You will see monuments to Croatia's struggle for independence, like Ovcara Memorial & Cemetery, on the Yugoslav Civil War, or take a wine-tasting excursion to Ilok. Then, depart for Serbia's historic Novi Sad, where you'll see the dauntless and impenetrable Petrovaradin Fortress. Vukovar is visited on cruises of the lower (eastern) Danube River and some of our longest river cruises like the journey from Prague to Bucharest over 22 days! Adventure Life took care of a lot of details for me because I flew separately and met up with the group at the start of the trip. On the return they dropped me off in Cantania and flew back to the UK as one group.
I was the only American on the Exodus trip which was not a problem. Communication between the two companies was good.
